The three options have the following effects: Option A is Reform trade and infrastructure, option B is Reform the army, and option C is Fortify the realm. It has no end date, so can happen later if Persia does not exist on that date, but later comes into existence. This event happens up to 3649 days (10 years, 1 month, 19 days) after 1st January 1512. Note that the other two events in this file are events for the Timurid Empire and the Uzbek Kaganate where the default option is to give these provinces to Persia.

Persia is a big warmonger (having a value of 75, compared to the default of 0 and maximum of 100). Persia is less likely to send a trader than the AI default (a figure of 50, compared to the default of the maximum 100), and is less likely to refuse trade (a value of 5, compared to 25). It is much less likely than the default AI to build colonies adjacent to previous ones (a value of 10, compared to 50), and has a very small bonus to trying to build them next to other countries (10, compared to the default of -50). If it does try to colonize, it will almost never try to build a trading post, rather than a colony (having a setting of 0). It will, like the default AI, only try to colonize up to 0 provinces at the same time. Persia uses the Persia.ai AI File in everything except the Fantasia scenario. They own and control seventeen core provinces (almost all of the Persia region, with a couple of provinces from its neighbours) and have nine cores that they neither own nor control.

In this scenario Persia has persian and arabic cultures, Shi'ite religion, and 450 ducats in the treasury. Persia exists at the start of the 1617, 1700, 1773, and 1795 scenarios.s Persia's culture and religion will always be persian and Shi'ite, regardless of the culture and religion of its provinces. It may also contain any of the following provinces, though they may not form Persia on their own: It must contain at least one of the following provinces: If it ceases to exist, Persia can be recreated by revolt at any point in the game.
